Sarajevo City Center is comprised of four separate but at the same time complementary parts: a modern five-star hotel, commercial and office space, shopping center with entertainment complex and an underground parking garage to accommodate for the entire Center.
The partnership group Al Shiddi Trading Establishment from Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Al Shiddi International from Sarajevo, bought Magros and started the construction of the Sarajevo City Center, a new landmark of the city. Having immense respect for this country and its capital, Al Shiddi Group decided to include the word ‘Sarajevo’ in the center’s name. In this way, citizens were assured that this new landmark is a present that is being built just for them.
Shopping Mall is spread on over 49 000 square meters. Around 80 shops offer worldwide known brands in fashion, sports and technology for a unique shopping experience.
Perfect location provided the Centre to be at the heart of the business zone, surrounded with banks, Government buildings and dozens of international and local companies. This is the reason an Office Tower was created as part of the SCC. This unique commercial building spreads on more than 6 000 square meters of office space equipped in accordance with the latest standards along with much needed Conference Halls that will be reachable from all parts of the Centre. The SCC offers an extensive range of modern facilities equipped with the state of the art technology.
Adjacent to the office premises is a hotel tower. The highest-class Hotel has a capacity of more than 220 rooms and presidential suites exclusively designed in accordance with the highest standards, spread on 13.900 sq. m. of a total constructed area. Hotel management is entrusted to the world-known international...
Read moreI was in awe when I walked into this mall! It's four floors of sheer shopping and eating heaven; just don't try to mail anything to the USA from the post office. I needed a stamp to mail a friend a birthday card and the postal worker looked at it like she'd never seen an envelope. She then proceeded to turn it over and rip it open! She kept saying "Zip Code," all the while I was physically showing her where I had written it. I was so shocked I could hardly move and I know my mouth was wide open in horror! She then taped it back up and held my card up to the glass to show me. Then she held up a piece of paper that said 7.50 BAM, which I paid. Then she printed out some sort of "stamp" that looked like some sort of . . . all I know is that it didn't look like any kind of postal stamp I've ever seen in my life. I hope my friend gets his birthday card! One of these days; my fingers are crossed! Additionally, I bought some allergy tablets at a pharmacy. There is also a wonderful book shop with journals, writing tools, etc. called Book It, I think. I threw my receipt away. If you've read this far, GO to this mall! There's a Zara there too - and...
Read moreThe shopping here is fine and all, but the maintenance is horrendous. This place was built around a decade ago and I think they haven’t painted the walls once, the ventilation is terrible and for some reason when walking down the stairs from -2 to -3 there’s something toxic in the air because me and 4 people who accompanied me all started coughing at around the same time and our lungs were burning still for a good 5 minutes after. The elevators are so bad, one is always out of service in some way, the waiting time is super long. The parking is so bad you wish you never entered it. And the parking does not accept card and some small coins like 10 or 20 and it becomes a hassle having to go up to the booth to pay, and there are hours when the booth isn’t even working. The toilets are a nightmare and who even thought of putting 3 bathrooms in such a big shopping mall? They’re always unclean. Overall the shopping is good but I wish they maintained the building in a way that would accommodate people even a bit… It seems like they only want the money grab. I wish someone would become a competitor so we can stop...
