Terrible experience – complete waste of money!
Do NOT come here, especially if you’re a solo traveler. The place is completely taken over by big groups (mostly women) who spend forever taking hundreds of photos. Meanwhile, solo visitors like me are left standing around with no chance of getting to the glass wall we paid to see.
I paid 120 reais for this scam. They claimed we’d get 1.5 minutes at the glass wall, but couples were hogging it for 15 minutes or more, and staff did absolutely nothing to manage the time or the line. I waited and waited, and eventually had to leave without even getting a single photo. I paid full price and got nothing. This place is a joke and a rip-off.
To make it worse, there’s no organization, no guidance, and the staff don’t speak English — even though it’s a tourist attraction. Nobody helps you, they just take your money. If you don’t speak Portuguese, good luck figuring anything out.
To the owners: Fix your management. Enforce fair time limits. Create a separate line for solo visitors. Train your staff to at least give basic help in English. Right now, you’re just stealing from...
Read moreWe went on a Saturday, at around 3pm, after a long rainy morning, and the place was practically empty.
We bought the tickets right there, but I do recommend you to get them online before, through Ticketmaster. Even though we didn't wait to buy the tickets or go up, it seems to be common to wait ~1 hour to buy tickets and take the elevator.

This experience is, for sure, aimed for people that just want a cool picture on their Instagram. I don't think it's worth the buck otherwise. Spoiler: I don't have Instagram.
Once you're up there, at floor 42, you have access to a small bar and chairs and tables.
You wait in queues to take yourself photos on the glass floors, and they give you 2 minutes to finish...
Read moreMake sure to buy and reserve your ticket online in advance of visiting this place. The neighborhood around is kind of dirty with homeless people, however during the day I saw several police units around. The cheaper and fastest way to get there is to take the subway to Luz or São Bento station then take Uber or walk. I had problems with Uber finding me by the São Bento subway station after multiple attempts I decided to ask for information and I walked to the place with my daughter. The building from outside does seem pretty however the experience above on the top floor is a lot of adrenaline I never get afraid of heights but it was a challenge for me and my 11 year old daughter to walk on the glass platform. It was a...
