Claresholm Museum — Attraction in Alberta

Best museum I've been to in a very long time and trust me, I'm a rec therapists, Ive been to alot of museums. They have a great collection of everything and very friendly service. All they ask for is a donation to the museum, recommend $2.00, so it's very inexpensive. It's wheelchair accessible but in some places there wasn't enough room to get a walker by. There was however alot of walking and my resident were very tired out after but enjoyed the overall tour, around 1 and a half hours. I look forward to going to their high tea on the lawn in August. Definitely a must go to place...

I enjoyed this museum, they have great collections of items of the past. I think there is something for everyone. I found the small touches of each store to be very fun to see, especially if it relates to places that we frequent on a regular basis. The barbershop, dentistry, grocery/general/hospital and the tools.

One can easily spend an hour or more visiting this very comprehensive museum. It is spread throughout a number of buildings and every one is very interesting.
