Moon House Restaurant — Restaurant in Alberta

We stopped in on our drive home from Calgary and had thought it was a Thai spot only to discover it’s a Chinese restaurant now but it was good. The server was friendly and helpful when I asked about Gluten free options and they had lots of variety other than what I required. We had a pot of tea, a chofan and beef noodle dish for my husband and I had a Shanghai shrimp and chicken with veggies rice noodle dish made gf and both were basic but very good. This was the first time I ordered from the Moon House and I ordered two combination plates for one plus an add on . I have never had such terrible food from any Chines restaurant before this .the shrimp and pork was all batter, and dry ribs were cooed beyond edible , Ishould have returned all of it but my husband threw it all in the garbage , We have had Chinese from Ken’s in Nanton and from another place in Fort Mac Leod which is far superior and Will definitely take the extra time to go to one of these restaurants when we want Chinese again , all that was edible on these plates was the spring roll , A waste...

New in town. Decided to try the local Chinese restaurant. Was not dissapointed. Food was ready on the dot, for pick up. Very friendly and polite service. I have had Chinese food in China town in Toronto and Ottawa. This little place in claresholm is extremely good. Had the boiled beef and salt and pepper chicken recommended by another reveiwer.
