Wow. Ordered pizza - and was really looking forward to it. Have had pizza there numerous times over the years and it's always been exceptional. The crust has always been the best crust I've ever had. Then the sauce etc. Excellent. I've driven all the way from Calgary to have it before.

Colour me disappointed. The crist is still exceptional. But that's where things went downhill.

The sauce is extremely bland now, virtually no flavor, not even tomato.

The topping were ok but nothing special.

It was for pickup ... And they put a small, maybe 4" square piece of paper between the 8" small pizza and the box... Which did not help. The large 12" pizza had an 8" x 4" piece ... Barely half the pizza. And extreme poor quality of paper that the cheese and crust stuck to. And of of course everything stuck to the box.

Not to mention most medium pizzas are 12" and large are 14" ...

I understand the need to save money where you can, totally understand that with the current world... But that is ridiculous.

I have other family that won't go there because of the sheer number if times their orders have been screwed up. But the food was their saving grace.

Now that's gone too.

Which sucks. Yet one more small town business that has gone down the drain, leaving even fewer choices for us other...

we ordered the dinner special, veal cutlet with gravy, roast potatoes and veggies. (15.95) also ordered starter greek salad (15.00) we questioned the waitress about the amount of feta and kalamata olives in the salad, as we have dined other places where they were minimal and she offered to tell the kitchen to double the usual amount. our starter salad arrived at the table less than 1 minute before our meals so i had to let my meal grow cold to eat my salad first, and even with more added olives and cheese, it was still skimpy. garlic toast which accompanied salad was cut nice and thick, but hardly any butter on it. there were 3 matchstick carrots on the dinner special, with 2 tiny pieces of broccoli. roasted potatoes was about 1/2 a small potato, sliced. cutlet was crispy and tasted fine but thin, and gravy which was served on top of it was not very flavourful. $60 bill and i left still hungry even though i ate everything. will...

I have passed by this restaurant many times and wish I hadn't. We stopped in yesterday for a late lunch and to say I was impressed is an understatement. We were greeted and seated promptly, by a most friendly server. She offered drinks "as well as the water", which she had automatically brought. We ordered the half order of Lasagna with Garlic Toast and it was plentiful for a half order and the garlic toast was huge. The lasagna had a generous amount of sauce and was topped with an equally generous amount of cheese. The price for this was very reasonable, as were the other prices on the menu. Notably I would like to mention the cleanliness of the restaurant. It was clean and neat, with our server discreetly making sure it was. I think we found our new favorite restaurant...
