West Stettler Park — Attraction in Alberta

Really nice recreation area with good size parking lot. It is well used with lots of walkers and runners starting out here as well as children and caregivers / family playing on the two visible play areas - jungle gym and that sort of thing plus the spray park itself.

Nice wide pathway stretching out, meandering through nice landscape a few blocks east. At the end it circles around on a return path on the other side. A good little workout or walk would be accomplished to do the entire circle.

Washrooms are well attended, cleaned thoroughly every day but weekends I expect - I was here 3 week days in a row. They use a good amount of bleach with water while literally sloshing down all surfaces, including the benches for changing on. Large garbage cans available too. Nice! Next time I take...

Fantastic place to visit in the summer or the winter! Whether you are just out for a stroll on the paved pathways and bridges or casting a line in the water to take advantage of the catch and release ponds! You will find lots of family fun at West Stettler Park! They host music in the park on Wednesday Nights! They have an awesome park for the little ones! Bench seating all around the paths! And a large hill to Tucker your youngins out!

Very well maintained park that hosts many summer events such as music shows and Canada Day celebrations with fireworks and other events. Fishing is allowed provided you have a fishing rod and licence. There is a walking trail surrounding the park that is exactly 1/km around from East parking lot bridge and is good for walking and biking.
