Cosmic Pizza Stettler — Restaurant in Alberta

Great local pizza. Really nice staff. Love it.

This is the best pizza place in Stettler. Here was my experience... I was in town for a memorial service for a family member (my step mom). About 10 of us were at my dad's house visiting and helping out. When it was time for dinner, dad recommended I go pick up some pizza at this local place. I ordered 3 Greek salads and 4 pizzas: 2 XL House special pizzas, 1 XL cheese and 1 gluten free pizza.

We all enjoyed some salad and pizza, and there was leftovers as well. The pizza was excellent, very tasty, full of cheese and generous toppings. The pizza ingredients were tasty and fresh. The crust was thicker but very nicely risen and flavorful. The greek salads were good as well (the only thing missing was olives, which is usual for Greek salad).

The staff was very kind and nice to speak with. When I arrived they were busy with a lot of pick up orders. We waited just a few more minutes for our pizza to finish and we got them piping hot to bring home.

The facility is small, and clearly does a lot of delivery and take out, although they have a few tables for people who wanted to sit down and eat a meal at the pizza shop.

The prices were quite reasonable for a small town like this.

I called in at 11:26 tonight to place an order for a pizza, and in the process of taking my order rather than allowing me to finish the lady on the phone told me that she would call me right back. I waited until 11:33 before calling back to see if she had forgotten about it and got no answer. By this time I was already on my way into town to ensure that I didn't hold them up past their closing time of 12:00 a.m. tried them again at 11:39 p.m. still nothing so I drove over there as soon as I got into town at 11:46. Upon arriving I find the restaurant is closed up for the night. If there was no intention to call me back why not just politely apologize and tell the customer that you're closing early tonight? Won't be patronizing this establishment again.

EDIT: Manager called next morning at 11AM. Explained employee was not feeling well and shut early for the night. Offered me a free pizza, I told him not to worry about it. Asked to have review removed, I declined as a feel it is a fair...

Literally just picked up a large beef and onion about 10 minutes ago while staying next door at the canalta hotel. Let me tell you, this place knows how to make good pizza! The crust was perfect. Fluffy and crispy, the cheese was fresh and delicious, and the toppings were perfectly distributed and not lacking at all!

If you're ever in stettler and craving pizza, this is the spot to go. You won't be disappointed! My large 2 topping pizza was 15 dollars! Which blows every other pizza place for price out of the water, plus the quality is miles above chain stores like Panago...
