Boston Pizza — Restaurant in Alberta

I've been staying at the hotel next door regularly for over a year. I decided to finally write a review. Let's just call the bartender Dave. Now Dave has a polite demeanor, but Dave should find a job he's better suited for. When I arrived, several empty tables were littered with dishes and leftovers from previous guests. So I sat at one of the only empty spots, right in front of the bar. Dave walked by twice before bringing a menu. He explained the pizza special, although it was pasta night. Not sure why he wouldn't be trying to sell pasta. He walked away without taking a drink order. When he came back, we ordered drinks. He brought me the wrong drink, but I was tired and thirsty, so I accepted the mistake. Our menus were closed and sitting beside us, but he left without taking our food orders. When he came back, we ordered our food. I made one minor change (I wanted cheese toast with my pasta.) When it came out, there was no cheese toast. I asked the server delivering my food and she confirmed it was a mistake from Dave. 2 mistakes so far. Well not quite enough for me to be pissy about. The server fixed his mistake for me. Food was average quality. On my third drink, Dave asked me if I was ordering doubles. Not once did I suggest I was. He stated that he wouldn't charge me for the double he brought me. 3 mistakes, although this one was in my favor. I don't have a grudge against Dave. He seems to keep looking busy, but the table behind me still hasn't been cleared and I've been here for over an hour. He's walked by us several times while our glasses sit empty in plain view. I feel like I should tip him 2 cents so he gets a clue that he sucks at his job. If I didn't drive a big rig, I'd literally go to any other restaurant than here.

I was just in the stettler Boston pizza with my dad and brother today, the service was not good, the food was cold, my dad had a cup of coffee and his coffee was cold, he asked for hot coffee, all of the times he got cold coffee. This isn't the first time this has happened to us. My brother and I would go in to eat and I had to send my food back five times, yes I said five times because it was cold. The food wasn't great and the waitress didn't even come around to see if everything was okay. We ordered delivery online and when the order was completed, it showed pick up. I called and Abby was very nice and changed it to delivery for me. When the order arrived an hour later, our garlic toast was missing for the two pastas. I called and spoke with Abby and she was very nice but ,long story short, it would take another 45 minutes to get the garlic toast. I declined because.....I thought that was too long to wait for something that they missed on our order. I usually order pizza because it is pretty much guaranteed not to have anything missing. We decided on pasta tonight but I think we will stick with pizza going forward if we get delivery...
