Masons Beach Park — Attraction in Area B (Shawnigan Lake)

There weren't too many people there when we went which was nice. It's a rather small area but looks great to walk out into the water and have a dip. The views were fantastic. It was a bit chilly when we arrived so we didn't have the nerve to go in. Has washrooms and a couple picnic benches to relax at. The parking is kitty corner across the street, which means you have to cross 2 main streets that are moving fairly quickly. There are crosswalks but one car didn't stop for us, we have children and it made it a bit nerve racking getting across. That being said, it was a nice time and we would possibly stop in again if we are out this way again...

This is a nice beach and I remember it usually being quite busy when I would spend days here as a child. In more recent years, I have only returned during winter and I found that it could have been better blocked off from the busy traffic to ensure safety of dogs who like to run around the beach since the sandy area is...

It's still very busy as usual and parking is always nearly full on a very nice day. The side closest to the convenience store is the least busy.
