Nice little park with a (separate) beach for swimming and wharf/pier with boat launch. There's actually a lot of fish you can catch off the pier if you want.
The only problem you have to watch out for is trashy people coming along, ignoring all the "no diving" and other signs about "no swimming" and try to chase away anyone fishing on the pier. Read moreA lovely little park. There's a nice little beach on the right. The beach has swimming section that is roped off for the very young swimmers. There's a volleyball beach area.
It's got a pier that leads down to a wharf. Kids often jump off the pier into the water below. Just make sure to jump out if you do, it's a little shallower closer to the pier. (It's about 2.1m or 7' deep right in front of the pier - 4.5m or 15' further out)

People often fish off the pier or off the wharf.
It's great place to spend a bit of time swimming,...
