Nice park... Beautiful views great access for sports therefore lots of sporty types kite boarding very popular there byo gear... Lots of kayakers, dingies, wind surfers ... Essentially a surfer park LOL minus the big waves. Wind can be too strong and deep in some section but they have made an area for little ones on the more sheltered west side. Perfect for sports or lawn surfing 😜 aka holding down the turf. Great spot to eat a packed lunch even if in your lunch break. Wouldn't go there at night tho. Prob a bit sketchy. Perfect during the day and for an hour or two getaway from the everyday of life. No motor boat launch that is down around a jaunt. Parking $10 per hour which is fairly standard rate around the bay's various parks.

Gorgeous view and relatively quiet in comparison to some of the other beaches around Barrie. I'll definitely be returning. This is a great spot whether it's for a park visit, a place to launch your canoe or kayak, a place to swim, or a place to have a picnic. I can't believe it isn't more popular than it is.

Great little beach. Perfect for a solo trip with the little kids. I didn't have to worry about them running off on the beach as it was relatively small. Wear water shoes as it is a little bit rocky/shelly. Otherwise great beach and will visit again.

Great family park. The Beach is a couple hundred feet long, lots of great sand and plenty of shallow water for small kids with a drop off about twenty meters from shore with markers. There is a modern and large playground right next to the beach and parking is also just a few steps away. It has a huge grassy area and plenty of shade trees. The view of the boats and downtown Barrie are great. The geese can be messy though, which is my only complaint. There is a small store with ice cream and such just a one minute walk away. Or a fifteen minute walk to McDonald's, Dairy Queen, Pizza pizza, Giant tiger and a Dollar store to name just a few of the stores nearby. There is also a public washroom and change room building with running water. Great place to...

I'm only giving this 4 stars because I only came here in the winter... for ice fishing. Theres a section that you can walk through with your pulling sled and a decent amount of parking if you dont have a trailer. If you have a trailer... dont be that guy. Oh and ducks! Man, so many ducks quaking around! Will wake you up! Plus theres a dude who sells minnows just outside the parking lot. Not in a shady way... like theres a store there... that sells minnows. I mean he probably sells other stuff too, I never went in. What I'm trying to say is these are NOT illegal minnows... I dont think. Barrie takes care of their anglers. Love you guys.... but in an appropriate way. Dont flag this review as suggestive... ok fine. I just LIKE you...
