Great family park. The Beach is a couple hundred feet long, lots of great sand and plenty of shallow water for small kids with a drop off about twenty meters from shore with markers. There is a modern and large playground right next to the beach and parking is also just a few steps away. It has a huge grassy area and plenty of shade trees. The view of the boats and downtown Barrie are great. The geese can be messy though, which is my only complaint. There is a small store with ice cream and such just a one minute walk away. Read moreI'm only giving this 4 stars because I only came here in the winter... for ice fishing. Love you guys.... but in an appropriate way. Dont flag this review as suggestive... ok fine. I just LIKE you...

Wouldn't go there at night tho. Prob a bit sketchy. Perfect during the day and for an hour or two getaway from the everyday of life.
No motor boat launch that is down around a jaunt. Parking $10 per hour which is fairly standard rate around the bay's...
