I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dspot Dessert Bar in Barrie, and it was an unforgettable experience! The moment I stepped inside, I was struck by the lively and welcoming ambiance. The vibrant decor, combined with cozy seating, creates an inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for both friends and family gatherings.

The menu is a dessert lover’s paradise, featuring an impressive array of options that cater to every sweet craving. I decided to try their famous gourmet milkshake, and it did not disappoint! I also indulged in their signature Dspot sundae, which was a beautifully layered masterpiece of flavors and textures—simply divine!

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that my visit was enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations, which made my experience even more delightful.

I'm disgusted. First, we had to clean off our own table and seat ourselves. No one came to take our drink order or even greeted us. Weve never been to the barrie location but we had been to the one in Markham and were really excited to try this location. After sitting with the menus and not getting any service my daughter and i started looking around for someone who works here. Thats when one of the women decided answering her cellphone was more important than guests in their store. And then we witnessed the most disgusting behaviour from a gentleman who looked to me like a manager. This man sneezed into his hands twice, then started talking to the lady on the phone. Full on touching the counters and the pos system. Then full on rubbed his nose on his hands and took a takeout receipt off the pos. Never once washed his hands and no one seemed to say anything to him about it. We didn't even bother staying at that point. This place does not value hygiene or safe food practices. I'm not spending $30 on dessert to eat the managers...

On May 18 around 6:10PM a friend and I went to get a sweet treat. To start, the service was not great, we could barely hear the employee talking to us and barely any communication when ordering. This made it a bit unwelcoming in the environment. The big issue we had was the very large dark beard hair that was in our funnel cake. Absolutely disgusting. Staff members were not wearing hair or beard nets which is likely the reasoning. Upon asking for a return so we could leave, the employees did not say a word and then were having issues with completing the debit return due to the “terminal error” as displayed on the machine but tried to tell me it was my card. I then asked for a refund in cash. My refund was short, it was not for exactly what I paid. I was refunded $21 and paid $24, why weren’t we fully refunded?
