Wren Boutique — Attraction in Bowen Island Municipality

Pretentious. I walked in this store 31 weeks pregnant and noticed the person working there was also quite pregnant and initially felt excited because I thought they might understand the struggle of shopping in late pregnancy. I was wearing comfy (probably unstylish clothing) and felt completely ignored in the almost empty store. They had some gorgeous clothing and thought I could probably find a great baby shower dress but every attempt to make eye contact with the employee for help with sizing was met by them looking down or busying themselves with other things. It felt like I was getting a cold shoulder as new customers to the store were warmly welcomed. I have honestly never felt more unwelcome in a shop before. I spent 10ish minutes trying to look for a dress in my size (and often struggling with hangers) and not once did the employee ask if I needed assistance. Maybe I didn't look like I could afford a $200 dress in my maternity leggings and tank top?...

Unbelievable service!!! When shopping at Wren I found so many stylish clothing that were just in my budget. I’ve been looking for a reasonable priced blouse and I finally found it, I’m so pleased. The owner was very attentive and respectful with accommodating to my requests and concerns that I had. Usually when I walk into stores it’s awkward and I feel often neglected and ignored by the workers however, Wren has exceptional service in terms of making a comfortable and welcoming environment for everyone. I was so pleased when I walked into doors of Wren. The owner was extremely nice and helped me through all of my questions and concerns I had. I felt very welcome and comfortable when I was browsing.
