Terrible experience with lifeguards and project manager. On Monday my self and my family went to professor's lake, which he have been going to for over 6 years now, my daughter for 3 years has not been able to go on their water slide due to hight, on this Monday we tried again, asked the life guard at the slide he checked and said yep she is fine to go, she went this day over 10 times, yesturday we went again, and of course my daughter excited wanted to go on the slide we waited our turn, once it was her turn the life guard right away with out checking her hight said sorry she can't go she is to short, we immediately got upset, and expressed that 2 days before she went over 10 times, he than placed her against the same measuring board and said sorry she is half an inch short of the requirement she can not go, we again expressed she had gone the other day over 10 time, he didn't care and said no. We asked to speak to head life guard, we are beyond upset at this point, explained the situation and head life guard said he understood but she should have never gone on, project manager is near by hears how upset we are and starts to say that it is tssa policy that the children meet the hight requirement, I understand that, but now who should we call to let them know they let a child who was short by .5 inch? If that's the case. Needless to say we requested our money back, we had been there for maybe 10 mins, all of which was us waiting in line for my daughter to go on the slide she had gone on 2 days before over 10 time with not issues, no banging her head on the slide walls, which they tried to say was the reason she could not go on. We will not be returning. If there was more we could do aside from leaving just this review, believe me, we would, my...

We went boating with two paddle boats, and after some time on the water, one of the boats started filling up completely with water and began to sink. We blew the whistle for help over 50 times, trying to get the attention of the lifeguards. Shockingly, the lifeguards were dancing and relaxing on the dock near other boats and completely ignored our calls for help.
By the time someone finally noticed and informed them, we were already in a dangerous situation, almost falling into the lake. Even then, they prioritized pulling the boat to the dock first and left us in the water. This is unacceptable – what matters more: the boat or people’s lives?
The supervisor of the lifeguards was especially rude and dismissive. This was a terrifying and traumatic experience. What if something worse had happened? There was no sense of urgency, no professionalism, and absolutely no safety protocol followed.
No one should go there until serious changes are made. Safety should...
Read moreNice lake with relatively clean water. Unfortunately, lifeguards do not limit themselves to the beach, and instead patrol the entire lake on their motorboat, stopping people from swimming outside the roped-off beach. The beach is small and shallow, about the size of a large swimming pool, and packed on a weekday, mainly with young children. Splashing around is possible, but swimming is not in these conditions. I was very disappointed, as I was looking forward to an open-water swim. The only risk that the lake prevents, I was told, was the sudden drop in depth, as non-swimmers enter the deep areas and drown. I believe that the choice to take the risk of swimming should be individual. It is silly for everyone to be stuck in the crowded, shallow water if they know how to swim. The signs warning of deep water in a lake...
