King Tandoori Bovaird — Restaurant in Brampton

I have been a regular customer at this restaurant and one of the reasons I kept coming back was their delicious green chilli naan, which I ordered multiple times without any issues. However, my recent experience was extremely disappointing.

I ordered the same naan but this time, I was served naans with red chilli flakes, which were way too spicy. My child, who loves this naan because it is usually mild despite the name, could not even eat it this time, as it was unbearably hot. Not only did we end up wasting our money, but we also could not enjoy a proper dinner, as the meal was inedible for us.

When we raised the issue with the staff, they admitted that the green chillies had run out and without informing us, they decided to add red chilli flakes instead. This lack of communication was frustrating, especially since we were not warned about the change in spice level.

To make matters worse, when we asked to speak with the owner, we were refused. The manager was not very understanding or empathetic to our situation, and the whole experience left us disappointed.

I hope the restaurant takes customer feedback seriously and improves both its communication and customer service moving forward. It is sad because this used to be one of our and our friend’s go-to places, but...

The service was exemplary—attentive without being intrusive, and each member of the staff displayed genuine courtesy and professionalism specially “Jashan”. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered thoughtful recommendations.

The food was outstanding. Each dish was prepared with evident care and attention to detail, both in flavor and presentation. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were well-balanced, making for a memorable culinary experience. Particular praise goes to the Lemon Mint Mojito”, and Honey Chilli potato ,which was nothing short of exceptional.
