Games Workshop — Attraction in Burlington

I really wish this store was a little more consistent with their hours. Ive made about 9 trips to the store, and about 6 of these times it has been closed during its normal operating hours. All the trips were made at varying times throughout the day so its not like i kept showing up during a scheduled break or anything. The 3 visits where i actually made it into the store have been very pleasant. Store is clean and organized as it should be, shelves are always full, and they've got tons of well painted miniatures to gawk at in their display cases.Tim is a great manager who knows his stuff and genuinely seems excited when hes talking about lore and modeling stuff. That said, when lords of war is just around the bend, and I know that the store will always be open during their normal hours, then I'm going to pay the extra markup they may have on their product, and I'm going spend the extra time...

My first visit to a Games Workshop store and I could not have been more pleased. I was helped by Tim. I have come to learn he is the manager from the countless glowing reviews I read and I agree with their high opinion of him. The store is sectioned off, not allowing general browsing due to the ongoing pandemic. While this was disappointing I totally understand and appreciate GWs efforts to keep its customers and employees safe. Despite the precautions and access limitations I was given excellent help and advice on my purchases. I asked for a particular citadel paint that was no longer available and I was given a bottle out of Tim's personal collection. No charge! I highly recommend this great store and it's manager Tim. A couple months ago, I Picked up my first Warhammer 40k figures from this store after discovering the hobby online. I was amazed walking in the door with the great selection, well organized store, and friendly staff. Talked about how I was brand new to the game and he helped me pick out something to get started and gave me some information on how to get started. Also offered to be available for any future questions I would have. Picked up a recruit box and a box of skitarii. Even got a couple freebies with this small purchase, a exclusive Warhammer coin, and a paint night orc too.
