Build-A-Bear Workshop — Attraction in Burnaby

I want to express my kindest gratitude to a super sweet plush artist named Vidhanti. She was sooo sweet, it made my entire day and I can't help but smile thinking about the experience I had in the workshop today.

I came in to get my frog scented and to adjust the stuffing. She first saw me trying to purchase a sound and came over to tell me that unfortunately, the scanner wasn't working for the day. She was super apologetic even though she didn't have to, and then led me to the stuffing station to work on my stuffies. I have never smelled the scents before and she kindly offered to let me smell every scent. When adjusting the stuffing, she was incredibly patient and let me hug my frog multiple times to figure out what softness I liked, and told me that I could come back anytime to get it readjusted if I changed my mind afterwards. Upon learning that I love the frog stuffies, she asked me about the new colour blocking frog and also chatted with me about other frogs that have come out in the past!

Build a Bear is not only about the bears, it’s about the customer service you get. This team not only shows they know their stuff, but adds to making the experience whimsical and worth while! Build a Bear may have changed in style and appearance within the store, but this team makes sure it’s the same whimsical experience.

Came in yesterday and it was busy, lots of customers wanting to build their bears - despite the craziness of how busy it was, there three staff members Erika, Caleb, and Alissandra handled themselves like champions and made sure that everyone was looked after and asked if they needed help.

I had my bear stuffed by Erika and she was so patient and kind. She was nom-stop stuffing bears, but she handled it like an expert. Caleb, (who I think was the MoD) was so efficient and people oriented. I was amazed at how he made sure to check on everyone, despite having his own hands full! And Alissandra was quick and efficient on till, making the line up...

Amazing experience! We had asked permission to go in to the Build A Bear store with our doggy who is now 13yrs.old to re create photo's of when she was only a few months old and when my daughter's Nana was alive. She had unfortunately passed away last year, & the manager had told us "Of course"! "Not a problem in the least"! YaaaaY!! So we had gone in, and the store was fairly packed & not only was our staff absolutely kind, fun, professional, understanding & great with children AND adults, they treated us with compassion & had done the same rituals or ceremonies with our new bears that is done with every child coming in to make memories and just as was done when my babygirl was a little babygirl 💜💜🤗💜🐻🐨🐭🐹🦥🐼🐻‍❄️🐰🦏🐣🦉🦇🦔🦒🐷🦓🦄🐴🐆🐅🐯🦬🐮🐞🐝🐙🦈🐡🐉🦖🐳🐾🥀🌠✨️💖💜🤗Thanks so much tp all the Build A Bear staff & customers that were there that...
