Why two of the three customer service representatives were oh so rude, aggressive, and argumentative?
Representative Number 1: Female. Wearing a creme/light beige coloured cap with what seems to be short hair. Angry demeanour. Purposely rushing customers to finalize their order. Creating a very aggressive, non-friendly, almost hostile like environment. Didn’t see her smile even once. Almost had the demeanour of a high school headmistress whom lacks common curtesy.
Representative Number 2: Male, wearing glasses, black cap, curly hair, larger frame build. We sure hope he was just having an off day and that he is usually not so aggressive, rude, and argumentative. He told a customer whom was trying to speak with him about a potential issue to simply go away and that he doesn’t care and does not want to deal with it. Our accomplice asked him why he demonstrated such rudeness and aggression, he replied with an “I don’t care … and a ‘you do not know the ‘EXPLETIVE’ story.” Which is true, we didn’t know the story behind whatever had occurred, but we did notice that the middle aged lady was pleasant and was not hostile and was trying to communicate her point to this staff member, and representative number 1. We do not agree that what we saw warranted such rudeness and aggressiveness from both representative number 1 and representative number 2.
Representative Number 3: Female. Black t-shirt. Smiling. Friendly. Courteous. Creating a normal, even better environment and vibe for customers.
Hate to say it but such an attitude (negative) seems routine at this joint. The question is whether management is proposing intense working conditions on some of these employees, or whether it is select employees themselves whom are choosing to behave the way they do with no logical reasoning 🤔. It still doesn’t hurt to be nice and curious though, does it?
We will follow up with a phone call to management in hopes that a humane level of customer service and communications are stressed upon with employees. We trust that the employees noted within negative connotation above are or can be better, and we do wish them the best none the less. People make mistakes, and people are different.
The above noted is as at 4.15PM on...
Read moreBEWARE!! They charge extra $1 for chopsticks if they don’t like you, and they stick together to stand against you if you want to talk to someone in charge for justice. My mom went here about two months ago, and a girl who works here tried to make her pay before they even finished taking her order. My mom then told that girl that she should wait until the order is ready, which makes the girl upset, and she then charged my mom $1 for asking for chopsticks. I went here today and confirmed with the cashier that the chopsticks should be free with any food orders. So I took my mom back here, hoped that we could speak to whoever is in charge about what happened, but the manager(so-called) was very rude. He kept repeating that “nothing is free” “it’s only free if you order food from us”and acted like he can’t understand what we were talking about (even that we knew he speaks Chinese and of course we talked to him in Chinese). We tried to explain that my mom already ordered food but that girl still made her pay for chopsticks, but the only reply we got was “nothing is free” “what do you expect? Nothing is free” “that’s impossible”. Seriously, that’s very disappointing since my mom used to get food from here every time she went to Metrotown, and that’s what she gets from them. No respect at all, and very irresponsible, unprofessional attitude. This should not be tolerated cuz no one should be charged extras for their...
Read moreI witnessed a very disturbing incident here today. The lady in line behind moved forward to the counter to order. She ordered noodles but was not sure what side she wanted, so she kindly and respectfully asked the man in the picture what some of the food was. Immediately he was annoyed with her. He rudely told her to move away until she knew what she wanted. She tried to ask him again and this seemed to really anger him. He dumped the noodles that were already on a plate back in the display and started yelling at her. It was so scary, he completely lost control. He turned off the light in the display and told her to go because he would not serve her. The next customer in line behind her tried to calmly talk to him, telling him it was ok, he was not in a rush and to answer her and give her her food but the guy refused, kept screaming at this poor lady who was now standing there is shock. I also asked him what the issue was, why he was yelling but he was red in the face now and just kept yelling he was in a bad mood and didn't want to answer any questions. The nice customer trying to defend the woman asked to speak to the manager to which the angry guy responded he was the owner, then yelled at us to all go because he would not serve any of us. Brutal. I would never eat there again, if he speaks like this to paying customers, I can only imagine how he...
