Arcadia Adventures Escape Room — Attraction in Calgary

Our group had an absolutely fantastic time at Arcadia Adventures Escape Room! The challenge level was spot on—difficult enough to keep us thinking, but never frustrating or discouraging. Every puzzle felt well-designed and engaging, making for an incredibly satisfying experience.

The ambiance was next level—the electric candles as the primary light source were a brilliant touch, adding to the immersion and making the atmosphere feel truly authentic. You can tell a lot of thought and care went into crafting the space.

The staff were amazing—friendly, informative, and always ready to help in just the right way without giving too much away. The whole place was well-maintained, and the quality of the experience really showed.

We were hyped to be the last group through the old location before their big move, and we can’t wait to see what they do with their new, larger space! If their new rooms are anything like this one, we know we’re in for something incredible. Highly recommend Arcadia Adventures to anyone looking for an immersive, challenging, and fun escape...

We played "A Golden Acquisition" and successfully completed our mission. Beautifully decorated room. The puzzles are quite different than what you'd see at other Calgary escape rooms, so it was definitely a new and unique challenge (and an enjoyable one). Also fun to see some interesting locks we haven't come across before! Do note - although their website states that this room is "ideal for younger and newer players", and it could still be enjoyable, I think younger/newer players may have a difficult time escaping within two hints (requirement for scoreboard). Still a fun time though!

As a recommendation based on our experience, increased immersion at the get-go would further improve the experience (e.g., if we were left with a simple note with our mission vs a staff member just telling us the story background in the waiting room). Overall, it was a fun escape room, and we look forward to trying the PvP...

We had an amazing time with two very different rooms!

The first room we did was Dollhouse – the atmosphere was incredible and the puzzles were absolutely fabulous. This was the scariest room I’ve ever played, but brilliantly designed. The balance of tension and challenge kept us completely hooked from start to finish. Our game master Jess was outstanding—she even offered to tone down the intensity if I got spooked.

The second room was Pixie’s Candy Emporium – a complete change of pace: bright, whimsical, and kid-friendly. The puzzles were on the easier side (as you’d expect for a family game), but one still managed to stump us! The room design was phenomenal, with eye-catching detail everywhere.

Overall, top-notch rooms with amazing variety and outstanding hosting. I cannot wait to play more games next time I’m in Calgary, and I highly recommend to any escape...
