Art Space & Design — Attraction in Calgary

It was our first time visiting the store today and it will for sure be the last, thanks to the asian girl working there. When we walked in, she didn’t greet us, she was busy talking on the phone. We didn’t notice the very tiny tiny signs there saying don’t touch the painting and my cousin accidentally touched one of the pieces and she came running towards us and was EXTREMELY rude. We went over to her to let her know that we didn’t appreciate the rudeness and she could have been polite in telling us not to touch. She didn’t apologize once and had a really bad attitude about it. When we were talking to her about the issue, she was still talking over the phone in her own language. All of this left a really bad taste in out mouths and we will never be visiting the store again. Art lovers oasis, this gallery is now on the main level of Chinook mall. The aesthetic interior is a sanctuary of zen, the use of space especially given social distance requirements is great. Diverse selection of International artists presenting refreshing new approaches to traditional mediums. Be sure to check out the smaller size home decor pieces as well as the hanging art. This gallery caught our eye when we were visiting chinook. We were looking to furnish 3 Showhomes, and the pieces here are beautiful. However, we walked out empty handed because the sales lady decided to make a snarky remark about one of the people we were with.
