This used to be called the grandstand, not to much architecturally different. I only have one complaint. Our tickets were on the 7th level for the chucks during Calgary stampede. This place has an escalator going down but nothing for going up! As some of us suffer with many different aches and pains, it's a difficult walk . Having to take alot of breaks. Other than that yes it was very busy but the consesion employees were quick fast and efficient as could be! Line ups flowed quickly ( as it could with amount of customers). The building itself was very clean inside and outside. Washrooms were super clean. With this being the first "official " re-opening " of the Calgary Stampede the greatest outdoor show in the world, I personally think that the entire show ran quite smoothly! The city of Calgary went up and above for this one! From keeping the city very safe and clean. Having such amazing entertainment back in Calgary, after all the stress this covid lockdown has put on everyone far and near! It felt like here in Calgary more of a celebration of...
Read moreWe had bought tickets for Monster Jam a month in advance, when we got there the day of the event i was very surprised that we had to get in a very very big line that went from the box office all the way down to the Agrium building. they said we had to pick up our already pre purchased tickets at the office where people buy tickets...???? what is the point of pre purchase. once we got inside the show had already started because it took us 1hr and 15 mins to get to the front of this ridiculous line. half way through the show i decided to get up and get some food and drinks for the kids and this is my experience: no debit or an atm machine around. cash only -popcorn was sold out.... how do you sell out of popcorn? -pizza was sold out. -walked through all floors and visited all concession stands with no luck. -after 25 mins of not finding anything i bough 2 bags of chips and 2 fountain drinks and spent $18! ... i know chips and drinks $18!!!!!.

Read moreI Have been coming to the show for 30 years. Now its 1 hour long after the chuckwagons. The show consisted of basically motocross and then a concert with an older lady ive never heard of. Nothing special different then you would hear at a bar. 130 for a concert i would go to the saddledome. A male pole dancer who's biggest wow moment was flexing his muscles to the dark background lights. I'll at least say the drone exhibit was wonderful. We Payed 130 with tax and fees to sit in the side and look at a tv screen. The stage was not even near us in view despite the online seat viewer showing it was. Punk kids feeling the need to openly do drugs in front of little kids. Also before, after the chuckwagons all the people standing had to find seats. Now everyone can just stay after the chucks and stay in the stand up area which seemed weird and even more distracting from the show. Very dissapointed and im left wondering what we spent 130...
