Centre Point Grocery — Local services in Calgary

The service at this store is always awesome & more importantly, welcoming; when served by the male clerk, yet when served by the female clerk, service is 100% the opposite & she doesn't care if it is. During the past year I've seen her twice & on both occasions i have left totally insulted & utterly irate. For example, if i want to see an item from behind the counter, she won't show me; instead, she'll say it's not in stock even when i can clearly see some & there's many more examples but i'm not going to list them all. This person is bad for business & i hope the owner realizes this sooner than later because it does make me consider shopping somewhere else. I will add though, today she really insulted me by stating how "she doesn't want to catch Covid". This has to do with her showing me an item i wanted a closer look at. She wouldn't bring it over & then said that. Neither had anything to do with each other OR myself AND she wasn't even wearing her mask, nor was one around...

Extremely dishonest people. I rented a u-haul truck from here and left behind my PS4 behind the drivers seat. I called and asked I could get it back and they said the truck was currently out and would check when it got back. This renter actually found my PS4, plugged it in to see if they could get my information and did. In the meantime he returned the truck and PS4. I went to the store in person and they said they had not gotten a PS4 back and let me check the truck. The person emailed me from the information they got off the PS4 asking if I had got the PS4 a day later. I then went back to the store and had to threaten to call the police in order for them to give it to me. It was under their front desk...

This store is great! As I work nearby, I regularly visit this location for my immediate needs. The owners and workers always greet with a friendly smile and are very helpful, and in my opinion, their prices are vey reasonable (It doesn’t hurt that I get a free coffee with every purchase!) As to Dequarious Jeboori’s comment, he is mistaken about the cost for 2 litre drinks. You can get two 2 litre pops for $7, not one for $8.
