Great Canadian Pizza & Donair - SAIT — Attraction in Calgary

I had an awful experience at this location which is so disappointing because I recommended to my group of friends that we come here and I spoke highly of the service. But I ended up waiting for 50 minutes FIVE ZERO for a poutine!!!! I understand that there was only one person working the Friday night we visited, but the service was some of the worst I’ve ever seen IN MY LIFE. You really couldn’t have put another person on shift so this poor girl doesn’t have to run around all over the place. I asked roughly 30 minutes into waiting after placing the order if the food had been put into the oven yet and if it was too late to get a refund, the cashier told us it would be ready soon so we chose to wait another 20 minutes. We waited and waited, I ordered first and got my food last in the group. The fries seemed chewy and were not fresh. I used to order the donair poutine as a regular but I won’t be coming back. We walked in here after a meeting at SAIT. My husband and I ordered a large donair, fries, and a popcorn chicken combo that comes with fries and a pop. The food itself was good, but the two ladies working seemed a little lost. They took over 20 minutes to make all of this, and then forgot to give my husband his pop. He waited at the counter for them (they spent the majority of their time in the back and couldn't see the counter) for about 5 to 10 mins before deciding to just grab one from the fridge beside the counter. As we finished up and were walking out, my husband said have a nice day and one of the ladies replied with "umm did you pay for that drink?". We said yes, we got the combo and it came with it. She said "okay but if not it's $2...". And we said yep, we paid for it but you never gave it to us.
