I had the pleasure of experiencing Kwinesstentials Cooking home services, and I must say, Chef Kwin, Leanne, and Chef Elle exceeded all expectations. Their expertise and collaboration in the home kitchen were truly commendable. What set them apart was their fantastic communication throughout the culinary journey, explaining each dish, custom menu, its inspiration, and, of course, the exquisite flavors. Opting for an all-vegan menu, except for my family's main protein, for a birthday and diploma celebration, the team showcased creativity and skill, especially with the standout dish – scratch-made tempeh, now a featured vegan option on fine-dining restaurant menu downtown Calgary! Chef Kwin's use of liquid nitrogen for a special dessert, adding a memorable touch to the celebration. The flavors in every dish were unique and delightful. Kwintessential's team brings passion to every creation, making it more than just a meal – it's an unforgettable experience. My mother says the experience and short rib is her favorite meal she’s ever had with the pleasure of it being in her kitchen, no worry with no clean up was a cherry on top. What an unforgettable evening! Chef Kwin and his team at Kwintessential Cooking Experience created an absolute masterpiece of a private dining experience. Every detail was thoughtfully curated—from a stunning tablescape to an exquisite progression of creative and delicious dishes. Chef Kwin’s passion for his craft was evident at every stage, as he seamlessly blended artistry, flavor, and storytelling into each course.

Over the course of the evening, we enjoyed nine beautifully conceived bites and dishes, each one expertly executed and presented with care. The Brant Lake Wagyu Tataki was melt-in-your-mouth perfection, and the Canadian Masala Short Rib, sous vide for three days, was a revelation—rich, deeply flavorful, and unbelievably tender. Every plate showcased a balance of bold flavors, refined technique, and meticulous attention to detail.
