The reason for my rating of 1:
I understand this is a fast food restaurant. But when I was there, the restaurant is not busy, and I had no one behind me in the line; however, the cashier did not take the time to take my order.
Cashier does not speak fluent English, and could not properly take my order. He did not clearly state the options of the sushi (salmon, or unagi, etc.). The cashier did not ask whether we are staying to eat-in at the restaurant, and he made our order a take-out order without asking my preference.
The food is not satisfactory as the sushi is all squashed in a take-out box.
I have been at the restaurant a few years ago as well because we like their Teriyaki source, but every time the staffs are not friendly and they can’t speak English well.
In conclusion, the staffs are neither well trained nor friendly. I did not get the food nor the service I wanted after paying close to $16 for a fast food. I will not go there again and I will not...
Read moreThis is not really my type of cuisine and I barely ever eat here except maybe for the odd time once or a twice a year, if that at all...
My most recent visit yesterday really left me wondering if I was given the portion meant for normal people or the "kid's meal" size! There were literally 3 pieces of broccoli, 2 tablespoons of meat and a half cup of rice, that was it! 🤨 The sauce also tasted like it was diluted, tasteless and didn't have that signature vibe to it anymore?!! 😒
Maybe this location is just as bad as some people are saying? But I don't really have anything to compare it to since I don't eat this type of cuisine. Maybe I will try Crowfoot next time... 🙄
I also noticed there USED TO BE mushrooms as part of the main veggie ingredients (even though I don't eat mushrooms) but didn't get any mushrooms yesterday. It is of no loss to me personally, but man, BUDGET CUTS really must be affecting...
Read moreAre you looking for a restaurant that has yummy food but is affordable and healthier lol This food here is suited for your needs! It's not your traditional Japanese food but the flavours really make your tummy satisfied! I reccomend the Beef Teriyaki on Ramen Noodles Kids Meal for those who like some flavour and don't eat a lot. For those who like more soft meat, I recommend the beef than the chicken. And for me I don't like it too salty so I get 1 scoop of sauce, but if you have no idea what it's gonna be like just ask for it on the side, and these thoughtful workers will give you 2 scoops on the side! (May I mention the workers are super nice?) The kids meal also comes with Pocky and a small drink! It all adds up to a price cheaper than most restaurants nowadays in an inflation world lol. And it's tasty too! Hope this helps you! Follow me for more detailed reviews on places around...
