C&C gamebridge. — Attraction in Cambridge

My friends and I were looking for a board game cafe that's halfway for all of us from our respective cities and came across C&C Gamebridge. We were very happy with our find!

The owners (Nancy and Jeff) are super friendly and when asked how to play WingSpan, they immediately, without hesitation, set the game up and explained it to us. We ended up asking if one of them could play it with us and they did! It was super fun and made the experience a lot more personable. Other people in the shop played with us too and chatted.

There are snacks and drinks available at the shop also, and the owners are super open to suggestions for which snacks you'd like to see there in the future.

As well, Nancy and Jeff said they are open to scheduling/booking game nights past open hours!

Overall, it was a great experience. I've never been to a board game cafe/C&C shop that I felt so welcomed at before. My friends and I had a great time and definitely hope to go back on our next get-together! I am from Toronto. Of all the game stores I have been to, gamebridge is the store that puts a genuine smile on my face. When I first set foot inside the store, I am welcomed by friendly greetings by the staff.I dont receive this experience with 401games, hairy tarantula, dollys, other games stores. I felt welcomed. Usually I just browse around inside the game stores to fill my curiosity. Gamebridge is different. They took initiative to help me out by letting me try one of their decks for disney lorcana. Guys, I am hooked. Thanks to the friendly staff I am always looking forward to the weekend now to battle other players with similar interests as I do. Come check out gamebridge guys!

As for the ambience, the store feels cozy with big windows. Plenty of tables to battle other people. Snacks and drinks available for purchase.

For their prices, it is similar to Hairy Tarantula. Which means they have the best prices for the budget concious players out there :) As for their selection of singles, there's plenty to choose from! And again their prices are the best...

This is a wonderful hobby store run by genuinely wonderful people and nerds just like us! They have enabled such a welcoming and positive gaming community to grow and play in their space. I've been to Warhammer 40k, Star Wars Legion, and MCP events here and they have all been a blast. They run lots of other events too that always seem to bring in a full house.

Their play space is well lit and they have lots of chairs. They're pretty well stocked in MCP, Star Wars Legion, hobby paint and accessories, and magic singles that are all inventoried and priced on their website.

They also always talk up other local businesses and help promote other things happening in the downtown core.
