Giovanni Caboto Park — Attraction in Central Core

Great park for the family. Ample open green spaces. New playground and spray park for young ones. Lots of seating throughout the park. It’s nice to sit beside the fountain and enjoy the ambiance of the falling water with the birds chirping. Then there are several festivals throughout the year. A large park with well lit pathways, with many benches, an excellent playground with lots of equipment for climbing, sliding, etc. The gates of the park are decorated with mosaic inlays with an Italian theme. Most of the trees are decorated with many small white lights that dazzle. In the park is a Statue of Giovanni Caboto sitting at a table holding playing cards. Community involvement w spray park and kids playground. There's. A soccer field. And resting seats and places to just picnic in park. Dog friendly yoga and places to self meditate and possibilities for group classes. Nice to see the trainers of nearby cougar boxing really cheer on their students as they jog around park.
