King George VI definitely knew his bridgework. I doubt King George V or King George IV ever elevated like this. It's a testament to the human capacity for ever improving innovation in transportation engineering. It's regal. King George VI definitely knew his bridgework. I doubt King George V or King George IV ever elevated like this. It's a testament to the human capacity for ever improving innovation in transportation engineering. It's regal. Getting across it can be a royal pain if you aren't careful, because oncoming traffic cannot see well. Do be mindful as you take in the majestic views.
