Recommended by a friend of my wife and definitely worth a visit. We lucked out and got there just before he closed for the evening (this is more a lunch and late afternoon spot). Extremely friendly owner who helped us pick a great couple of burritos for our first experience here. He aims to sell out by the end of day so your aim should be to get here early in the afternoon. The burritos were fresh, flavour filled and filling. Washed them down with a Jarritos soda pop and they really hit the spot. Better half had the veggie and me the pork. We will definitely return to try some tacos.

If you want depressed and sad tacos , this is your place , like the vibe is like you are buying drugs or something . Zero vibe . No music , the service guy was like taking orders behind the mesh , dirty mesh and dirty stand . Flavour ? , I could get better flavour in a taco bell…. To the owner , put some effort in your business , hire a cooker that knows Mexican food , not just microwave . also they advertise fresh ingredients, far from true … they even ask for tip , come on really?

A great taco take away. The owner was really nice and gave us an extra taco so we could try them all. And all of them were delicious. The rice and sweet potatoes were very tasty as well. We enjoyed eating the food on the tables out from of the restaurant. The only knock I have is that the food is so good it sells out sometimes...so come early!

Objective review from a Mexican: I know is hard, specially in a small town, to get the ingredients needed to bring the true Mexican flavors.

Had the tamal (no e at the end) and a taco meal with one taco of each, tacos were good, we don't put crema on all the tacos so maybe that could be on the side, salsas are good, biggest issue was the rice, flavorless and needing at least 5 more minutes in the stove. None of us ate it so it was a shame it went to the bin. As a suggestion, some Korn beef cube, bit of salt and liquidified tomato sauce for color will make a big difference, I assume thays the same rice you use for burritos too.

Tamal was good but tiny.

Had to go for a burger after to fill up

Hope you take it as constructive...

Update - Arrived at 12pm and was second inline and left at 12:12pm and the tacos were amazing this time. Burritos were also amazing like last time.

The taco's were great and the veggie burrito was amazing! Waited an hour and 15 minutes to order. There were 5 people ahead of us. Our order took 10 minutes for six tacos and two burritos.

The wait time seemed long, I don't know if it was just a one off or not. Seems like they might need more staff, or better systems in place. You have to order and wait for your food before the next person in line can order, which seems strange since most places will allow you to order and then call out when your order is ready. Similar to a food truck.

Still grateful to have this place in...

Absolutely amazing authentic Mexican food. Like the mom and pa shops I've eatten at in Mexico. Yum.

Being a family of 5 we tried absolutely everything on the menu, including all the fresh made salsas. All of them are perfection. We would have tried the chirizo taco but it was sold out for the day....I'm sure that would have been phenomenonal as well. The fact that it was sold out by 3pm would mean that it is!

Everything (excluding the lines and avocados - obviously) is sourced locally...another plus!! So fresh.

The owner is the sweetest man and given classically Canadian friendly customer service.

If your in Port Stanley, or even remotely in the area you have to stop...
