Ce dimanche est complètement désorganise. Deuxième fois de cet année et 2 en 2 il as de gros problème dans leurs organisation et nous les usagers on doit payer. En plus que les écluse au canada sont payante mais aux États-Unis s’est gratuit a la majorité des endroits. Bref il s’en foute des usagers! Et ont écopent. Exemple: 3 embarcations qui montaient ensemble, nous nous trouvions deja serrez, ils decident de rajouter un bateau encore plus gros en plus mi-chemin, le nouveau bateau et nous ont partager notre incomfort vis-a vis la situation mais ils s’en foute! En plus d’amarre d’ecluse dangereusement degrader…. Bref pas du tout agreable comme passage ENCORE. L’excuse du low staff n’est plus pardonnable etant donner que cela fais plusieurs annee que c’est pareil.

We took the bike path from Chambly to St-Jean-sur-Richelieu (20 km, linear) all along the canal. The path is mostly well-maintained, alternating between gravel and asphalt, mostly flat. There were a few rest stops and picnic areas along the way.

A lovely place. Great are to Paddleboard, ride a bike or do any activity involving outdoors and water. Perhaps baptising your next child? There are very long bicycle lanes along the canal, on both sides, which you can take and enjoy the view.
