⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Peake's Wharf Boat Tours is an absolute gem in Charlottetown, PEI! If you're looking for a truly authentic maritime experience that's both fun and informative, look no further. Our recent tour was simply fantastic. We were treated to stunning views of the Charlottetown harbour and beyond, and the highlight for us was definitely the seal watching. We saw so many of these playful creatures playing in the water – it was such a joy to witness them in their natural habitat. Adding to the wonderful atmosphere was the inclusion of local Prince Edward Island music. The live performance really brought an extra layer of charm and local flavour to the tour, making it feel truly unique and memorable. It was the perfect soundtrack to the beautiful scenery. And for a true taste of the Island's heritage, getting to see lobster traps was an incredible hands-on experience. Learning about this vital industry directly from the knowledgeable crew was fascinating. The crew was friendly, engaging, and clearly passionate about PEI's marine life and culture. This tour perfectly blends education, entertainment, and breathtaking natural beauty. We left feeling completely delighted and with a deeper appreciation for this beautiful island. Highly recommend Peake's Wharf Boat Tours for an unforgettable...

We took the afternoon Seal Tour, and it was lovely! We were lucky to have an amazing sunny day (however rain would have been completely fine as the boat is covered) but definitely glad we brought sweaters (the wind off the harbour is no joke!)

We spent 2 hours totals in our tour, and we saw tons of seals, got some great pictures, and learned lots of history about PEI! Don't get me wrong, this tour wasn't just educational, it was also entertaining! Captain Ken was frequently telling jokes (I'm sure to the chagrin of his daughter Angie) and stories/experiences he has heard or had.

After seeing the seals, we turned back into the harbour, and Ken allowed people to steer the boat if they wanted to (which I didn't do, but I thought was really cool!). Upon reentering the harbour, we pulled a lobster trap he has set for educational purposes. The lobsters inside were banded and handed around and we were given tons of facts about lobsters and the lobster industry!

Overall this was an amazing experience! Don't forget to bring cash (beverages on the boat are cash only) or bring a bottle full of water! And sunblock, don't forget...

We had a wonderful time on the afternoon boat cruise, which included seal watching and a lobster trap haul demonstration. Captain Kenny is an extremely knowledgeable, friendly, upbeat and enthuisastic tour guide (and ship's captain). We saw dozens of seals and while you can't get too close to them, the captain provides binoculars to all passengers so you can get a good look at them. The lobster trap hauling demonstration was very cool. The demo lobster trap they hauled up had several large live lobsters in it and they are gently passed around among the passengers if you wish to hold them for a photo etc. Highly recommend this excursion to anyone looking to get out on the water while in Charlottetown or visiting PEI. We paid $55 plus tax per adult and it was worth...

10/10, would recommend. Had a great time on the sunset and lobster haul tour with Peakes Wharf Boat Tours. It’s an owner and operator business leading to a great experience b/c it’s their business. The boat was quiet, even in the back. Captain Ken was great, he played music some, even his own guitar. He also made it personal and took a special request from one very young passenger :-) Lobster haul was surprise, and quite interesting. Even get to hold the lobsters if you’d like! No pressure. Length of harbor sunset cruise was perfect, enough to settle in and really enjoy it. But with quiet boat, being an owner operator, greeting guests getting off boat like a true captain, the experience is well worth price of admission. 10/10 would recommend and go back again.

the tour was awesome! definitely one of our highlighted memories from our trip to PEI. the tour was about 2.5 hours, you will definitely need both sunblock and a hat. we actually saw seals!! it was so amazing! gosh they're so cute. then we drove around and got real close to the cliffside of the second oldest lighthouse on the island. then we catch a cage and did a lobster pull. we learned a whole lot about lobsters. the guide was very nice and informative. he sang us a couple fun songs. his daughter was helping him and she was also very nice to everyone. I would definitely come back to this place and do this tour again next time I go to PEI
