We spent the day wandering the Charlottetown Boardwalk and it was the perfect mix of views, stories, and little surprises. The harbor breeze, boats coming and going, music drifting from patios—it all sets the mood. Our top pick: join a walking tour. Our guide was funny, engaging, and full of behind-the-scenes stories that made the waterfront and historic streets feel alive in a way you just don’t get on your own. Don’t miss the little mouse scavenger hunt—it’s such a fun way to explore. We found ourselves peeking into corners and along window ledges, celebrating each tiny discovery like kids. And if you’re there on a Sunday, the market is a must: packed with interesting local vendors, tasty bites, and handmade finds that feel truly PEI. Quick tips: wear comfy shoes, bring a light layer for the wind, and give yourself time to wander off the main path—some of the best photo spots are just a few steps away.

Nice walking. Street musiciens that were good. Souvenir shops, ice cream, etc... Big cruise ship parked. People fshing for mackerel on the wharf.
