Qoqó:lem Park — Attraction in Chilliwack

Really nice short hiking area just 10 minutes from the highway with picnic areas and views of the river and valley below. You'll have to do a little bit of walking to get to the first areas with tables but it's not far and before the 70 some switchbacks that take you further up the mountain to a cleared site with more picnic tables, benches and even a toilet. The trails are all gravelled and reasonably wide with only a few little sections where the gravel and steepness can get slippery but I reckon that over time that will get better. Be on the lookout for wildlife, there are plenty of cool animals to be seen with the occasional bear or cougar also...

This trail can connect you to cultus lake, right on the vedder mountain. The point is a bit lower than the similar hike on cultus lake side but a bit lower 20-30 meter ish You can still capture sumas roughly as you can see in my image 5km roundtrip, take water with yourself as it my be a bit hard for a intermediate hiker. It's nice and cool in the afternoon sun is usually on the other side of the hill....
