UPDATED: Star rating increased :) Excited to give sidekick another go. It's is after all an enticing spot on the river with a view and location truly unmatched! The patio is excellent. Raised from a previous 2 rating. Our server on the patio was fantastic and accommodating for family bringing dog + 2 young kids to the patio. Now after being established for a while it seems systems are running fairly smooth. They bring fresh water for dogs and are mindful on hot days to confirm if you are open to sitting out in full sun. I appreciated the beer selection which has improved from the last visit. I'm not a fan of the corn beer personally but I certainly enjoyed others :) while I am not a big fan of the pizza style I can respect how many will find it quite enjoyable. I do think $24 for pizza of that size is a bit of a suprise but a fabulous location and building needs to be paid for somehow, lol
Overall a great improvement over our last visit. Thanks for bringing your A game Sidekick :) previous review from fall 2022:I wish this business the absolute best...but was sadly very disappointed. Our server was not very pleasant this evening. She was sharp and forgot to bring 2 tasters I ordered. She also did not seem interested in answering questions about there menu. Additionally they were out of 3 beers. My wife's flavoured beer with syrup (a weird concept I hope that works out for them) was extremely sweet. I have tried the pizza but not on this visit. It's fine, but looks like an appetizer size for $24. The view is epic. The location is amazing.
Perhaps it was an off night. I look forward to coming back again with my family and updating my review to 5 stars when we have better service and they are fully stocked with items.
On a side note, having watched the construction and waited patiently for this wonderful place to open I am disappointed to See we have yet another brewery offering the same thing...pizza. It seems like a missed opportunity that has fallen off the mark. Here's hoping they get good feedback and make positive improvements quickly. This way they can become a local hotspot as well as a success story. Despite my experience I am rooting...

Appearance and atmosphere was nice. Was a bit loud, but it was busy, so it's that's understandable. Was told we would have to wait 25 minutes to get a table; they took down my name and phone number to text when a table was available.
My group of 3 ordered 3 Chicago style pizzas. My pizza was ready within ~15 minutes. My two friend's pizzas had not come, so I waited for their pizzas to arrive, in order to be polite. Usually restaurants will try to bring everyon's food out at the same time so people can eat together. We waited a long time, and started wondering if they had actually forgotten that we had ordered the two other pizzas. It took 45 minutes for the waiter to come tell us that there was a "small mishap" in the kitchen, and that our pizzas would be out shortly. After another 10 minutes, the pizzas arrived. In total, that's about 70 minutes before we could eat.
My pizza was cold by then. I hadn't touched it. I asked nearby staff (not our waiter, he was doing something else) they could reheat my pizza, as it had gotten cold while I was waiting for my two friend's pizzas to arrive. She gave me a strange look, and told me that my pizza couldn't be reheated because it had already been sitting out. They did offer to remake my pizza, but at that point, I didn't want to wait even longer, so I ate cold pizza instead.
The pizza tasted great. It was extremely expensive for the amount you get. Pizza was about the size of a stretched hand.
Our waiter (tall man with curly hair) was very polite, and apologetic for how long we had to wait, so service was at least good.
Attached is a picture of my cold ...

Family friendly! They don’t just say that, they actually speak to your kids like valued guests rather than inconveniences.
Both times we ended up talking with people from other tables, there is a strong sense of community amongst a diverse crowd here!
I loved how a server was wearing a Field House Brewery t-shirt. This spoke to the collaborative heart behind the business.
I don’t normally care much for IPAs and ordered two after the flight because they were so good! Can’t go wrong with the beer selection, it’s made with love and intention for sure.
THE PIZZA. I have too much to say about how good the Hawaiian is. Let’s just say I had it for dinner on Friday and went back for lunch on Sunday and did not stop thinking about it in between.
No one else’s website value page has made me tear up with gratitude that such humans exist. Let alone are creating a space that is so inclusive and welcoming with such great beer and pizza.
The venue is stunning, huge glass windows, open and airy main space, amazing patio, right on the river with an epic view of the mountains. The upstairs event space looks intriguing and I can’t wait for hot summer days to pick up some beers and pizza to go sit by the river or...
