The Food I ordered was hot and the service was ok, is the only nice thing I can say. It was the worst falafel sandwich I’ve ever had!!! I should have said no thanks and walked away when I asked for Hummus, Tzatziki and Hot Sauce to be added to my Falafel. The young man said we don’t have Hummus and Tzatziki. I asked do you have Hot Sauce? He said yes! They forgot to add Hot Sauce!!!! They did have Tahini and Garlic Sauce but, that was minimal. The whole thing was wrapped in a Tortilla and not a pita?!?! The toppings were ok for a sandwich with tomato, lettuce and dill pickles. I was hungry so I ate it and it was $15.00. $3.00 for my Coke that they forgot to give me and I forgot as I waited for so long to get my food. I don’t like to give negative reviews. Nasty food, and for $17! I was appauled. He is trying to serve Persian cuisine but is not Persian so he has made up his own cuisine thinking Canadians will like his style. It is horrid and he is ripping ppl off, rip off big companies but not the small people. $20 at Sandhar Hut gets you soooooo much food, they are rated #1 in BC for Indian Food, but everybody must know that by now. Fabulous food, great portions. I had the shawarma poutine and they put plenty of chicken and cheese curds on. I was really impressed. My co-workers had various things, and all had great things to say about them. My work hired this truck to cater an event and they were fast getting orders out, very friendly and delicious!
