It was such a waste of money more then half of the rides there taking photos of aren’t even there they always have the same basic broken old rides didn’t even have the roller coaster and the games there are such a scam there was this one game with a gun where your supposed to shoot a star out of a paper card looks like a semi automatic rifle and should be easy enough 10$ for 100 but it’s this poor excuse of a gun it more of a air pipe the bullets would jam in the barrel and then just roll out that your supposed to shoot out a star absolute waste of money plus 65$+ for day bracelet when there’s only 3 working rides what should of been fun with the family is exploited for capital gain and the food they are trying to sell is absolutely ridiculously it’s so jacked up I should’ve took pictures it was so lame they had normal hotdogs for 9$ 13$for a dollar tiny poutine that was really just a extra large waste of money and 15$ for a 3 piece chicken nuggets and a bit of fries and the lines were brutal you just had people bugging randomly and there were wayyy to many people all of the rides could only take like 50 to 80max all at a time but you at at least a 3000/4000+ or more people just go to the movies or the P&E at least I’d be worth 400$ and they’re not so greedy like come on 10$for a caramel apple with sprinkles and 7$for a ice cone with barely any flavouring that all just sinks to the bottom where it soaks into the paper and they had total crack heads...
Read moreMan, in this crazy world, we are lucky to have something to hold onto from the "Golden era" of western civilization (1960s- early 2000s): the local community fall fair.
This team might not be the most personable or even make the food fresh anymore (corn dogs pre cooked are only 75% as good as fresh) but where else can you take the kids for a super exciting day/night anymore for a reasonable or even high price? This is it and although it could be better, there is nothing else to replace it and if they get "cancelled", we have nothing.
The racist calls, I'm not sure, last time 50% were dark skin men and only like 10% of any of the staff were friendly or personable, I think they are just overall not that friendly to customers. I get it's a tough job to be on the road all the time and customers look down on "carneys: so maybe it's a two way thing. I like to be super nice to anyone that is working class because it's important to respect all roles in the community and they need to know that we appreciate what they do for all of our towns, especially the rural ones away from the...
Read morewent to the Carnival in Coquitlam this weekend. had the worst experience with the games. the games are $5 per play, meaning $5 one dart if you play the dart, or $5 / 2 balls if you play toss the ball. so basically $5 for 5 seconds play and in most cases you don't get anything - just like gambling. I can understand it can be quite pricy after the two year pandemic restrictions, but the people who serve the games were also so rude - did not explain the rule and just took the money away. it's totally rip off as many players here are young kids - my son was completely taken aback. I would say all the games are just tricks to take you money. I'd rather make donations to the company for the sake of children having fun than being scammed. The fries I purchases were also cold and greasy. I wanted to give a one star but to be fair, my kids enjoyed most of the rides although understandably there were crowds and long...
