Date July 16 Time 5:30-6pm My recent encounter with a staff member at the Tim Hortons drive-thru left a sour taste in my mouth, quite literally. The lack of professionalism and poor attitude demonstrated by the staff member was disappointing and frustrating.
As I pulled up to the drive-thru window to place my order, I was met with a disinterested and unfriendly demeanor from the staff member. There was no greeting, no smile, just a blank stare as if I was inconveniencing them with my presence. I understand that everyone can have bad days, but this level of rudeness was unacceptable, especially in a customer-facing role.
When I attempted to ask a question , the staff member seemed annoyed and impatient. They provided minimal information, making me feel like I was bothering them with my inquiry. Their dismissive attitude made me hesitate to ask any further questions.
The overall efficiency at the drive-thru was severely lacking. I had to wait much longer than usual(almost 30 minutes), and it was apparent that the staff member was not prioritizing speed or accuracy in their work.
I left the drive-thru feeling undervalued as a customer and utterly disappointed with the service I received. It's essential for staff members, especially those working in customer service, to exhibit a courteous and helpful attitude, which was sorely lacking in this instance.
I hope that Tim Hortons takes these reviews seriously and invests in better training and supervision of their staff. A single unpleasant encounter can drive customers away and tarnish the reputation of an otherwise renowned chain. Until I see a significant improvement in the service and attitude of the staff, I'm hesitant to return to this particular Tim...
Read moreTerrible past 2 experiences here. First time i went inside where i had to wait 20 mins to order as the staff focused on drive thru and only had one till open despite the long line of customers inside. After ordering i received my drink right away, then had to wait nearly 30 mins to get my food, which in the end was the wrong sandwich. I brought it up to them and they said they ran out of a certain bagel that i asked for so i asked for a seperate sandwich, it was about $1.50 more and they tried to get me to come back to the till to pay the difference, i left. The second time i went through the drive thru at a good time of day (i was the only one there). As i pull up i say my order, simple crispy chicken wrap with an iced capp and some potato wedges. The lady on the mic was rude by cutting me off and i had to repeat my order about 5 times for her to understand. She kept saying she couldnt hear me and after raising my voice she asked why i was yelling at her. She also told me there was no crispy chicken or no potato wedges. Okay, so i tried to substitute it for a bagel belt and a apple fritter donut. She said they stopped serving breakfast at 10am, it was 10:04 and still showing on the menu. Also, out of apple frits. Through being cut off again and again, misunderstood orders, wait times and having to repeat myself multiple times i will not be supporting this tim hortons, or any for that matter until they can fix their staff and service. I live 30 seconds away from here and have been going to this Tim’s since 2014 and i’ve never had problems until the past...
Read moreWrong food again. Always a long wait. Often served 2nd when there well before another vehicle even pulls in. Finally called today, only to be greeted with attitude and excuses. I too am a manager working in customer service. I understand having broken equipment, (why we have repeatedly been bumped in drive through), I understand being short handed, (an excuse to make an order incorrectly), and I appreciate the frustration with having another complaint, (this is not a reason to be rude to a customer). After the Manager hesitantly gave me her name, I explained what had happened. She gave excuses why we were bumped, why the order was completely wrong, and not until I asked did she say what could be done to make it right. She said I could come down and pick up the correct order. So I can spend the gas to drive back to receive what was already paid for? Thank you! She then said I could get two coffee. Bearing I want impressed, paused and said or any 2 drinks. As I picked up, I was greeted with attitude and glares. I don't understand. Simply ask what can be done to fix this? The customer didn't make the error, you did. It happened. Own it and make it right. Then, use the information collected for training and retraining purposes. As this is the closest location to our home, we have given repeated chances to see a change in the service. Unfortunately, after reading the many negative reviews, I don't think the owners of this location care about the customers...
