Blue Mountain Spray Park — Attraction in Coquitlam

Went today for the whole day!! We shut it down!! It was so, so nice here. Great space. Tons of trees for shade. Little wading pool was cute....but surprisingly (not surprisingly) the water was cloudy and we never saw them putting in any chemicals.....🤔 The playground is cool, so many different things for the kids to do and, AND, a spray park on top of all this. Like I mentioned, tons of trees = shade and space to set up. There was also a really nice ball field as well. Only thing is that the garbage was overflowing when we got there...and got worse throughout the day. On hot busy weekends, should be a thing to schedule in more often for sure. Easy access, lots of spaces for parents to sit while kids play, somewhat near to the bathrooms, lots of parking close by. There is a concession stand in the park as well. My only concern is that there is a water sluice/slope on one side that gets very slippy and the sides are made of large rocks with some hard edges. The rest of the splash pad is...

Edit: I found a parks fellow changing the garbage bags and asked him why the spray park was off. He called his boss and an hour later the water was on. Now the kids are having a blast
