I would give this place a zero if I could. Horrible customer service. We originally made reservations for 7:15pm but arrived about an hour early. They said we would have to wait as there were other people before us on the waiting list, which we said that was fine, as it was our own fault that we were early.
We waited until 7:10 and by that time we were the only group waiting. Another group of 3 came in and sat at a table intended for 2. A group of 4 left, so we were pretty sure that that was going to be our table. However, the lady there let that group move to the table of 4 instead of putting us there.
When I confronted her, she said it wasn't time for my reservation yet as it was 7:11. I told her we had informed her that we would be waiting stand by. She kept insisting that I had a reservation. I told her those people just walked in. Had I put my name on the waiting list, I would've been before them to sit down anyways. Why couldn't they have cancelled my reservation and then put me on the waiting list of it was faster?
She then pointed at another table and said that those people are leaving in 5 minutes. She then said again that I had reservations which is why I had to wait. I explained again for the third time that those people just walked in and we had been waiting for almost an hour, and did she understand what I was saying? She ended up just laughing awkwardly and walking away.
She purposely avoided me after that. Of course, the table she pointed at didn't end up leaving and continued to order more food. What she should have done was given us the original table and moved the walk in table of 3 to another table when it was available later on. We had to wait another 10 minutes before another table cleared up and we could then sit down. 10 minutes after our reservation that she was so persistent...

This used to be one of our faves, but with recent changes to management, and the chef, this place is downright awful. Prices have increased significantly, discounts for take out have been removed, and the food is very unfresh now (I suspect the price changes have reduced turn over).
We ordered a few of our usual items this time. I was a bit shocked when we picked up the order, and the bill was a good 30% more than usual.
When we opened up the take out containers, we could instantly see the sashimi was not fresh. The Salmon had started to change colour (not the fresh pink/orange colour it should be), and the tuna had a strong fishy odour and was extremely mushy. Not normal. The rolls were rolled poorly, and anything that contained raw fish was awful. Anything that had Tuna, had long white chewy sinewy strands, and the salmon in the salmon maki still had the skin fully intact! The only thing passable were the California rolls.
We have sushi quite often, and this was hands down the worst sushi experience we've had in a decade. When they changed from Nao to Mika initially, things were ok. Food quality, pricing and service was good. There was a subsequent change again recently. This experience was a huge difference from around 1 month ago when we last went. At the least the sushi chef has obviously changed, and not for the better.

It's not recommended anyone order from here or visit this location anymore as they have been caught being dishonest to customers. Lying is not good for their business nor is making changes to what the otder comes with without changing the menu first to inform ppl something changed . And yet they still charge full price . Filing a complaint with the better businesses bureau
This is a bad restaurant who has been caught lying to customers because they messed up the order on their end and can't accept fault . Big ego problem .
