My husband and I had our wedding here this past July 30th, 2021. It was indeed a spectacular experience because the service was impeccable. We were treated like royalty on our wedding day. The 'banquet captain" for our special day was a man named Soo, and he was an absolute joy to work with. He ensured that all the wedding details were correct. So if you are employed with the VGC and worked at our wedding event, know that you did a fantastic job! The food was also first class - everyone was raving about the food and the spread we had! Of course, we must also mention that working with the Banquet Manager, Graham, was a flawless experience that started our relationship on a good note!

The grounds worker has been walking in circles since about 7am this morning with a gas powered leaf blower pointed at the soaking wet ground blowing puddles of water around while it continues to pour rain. Why? For the cost of a yearly membership you could at the very least invest in electric leaf blowers to show some courtesy to the literally hundreds of people who are affected by the obnoxious leaf blower noise every single day. My wife is a healthcare worker and works night shift, she gets home at about 7:30am and it’s it’s absolutely infuriating and impossible to sleep listening to a gas powered leaf blower blasting puddles of water around for hours.

Superb! Great pasta on Thursday nights. Better than Italy and great service. Perfect place to chil out and enjoy a meal. Great atmosphere but gotta be a member to go there. It has a clothing rule so that makes it real legit. Took kids there and they enjoyed it. Family friendly and service is good. During covid strict rules to keep people safe. Also, they're appies are good. Salad is fresh and made b4 your eyes and so is the food. All in all, very good.

We just wanted to reach out and leave a positive review for VGC and for their Banquet Manager Graham. We had our wedding reception booked there for this May, and then of course the COVID-19 crisis hit and both the venue and our ability to hold the wedding ceremony were affected. This was a very dynamic and unusual event, but Graham managed it with fairness and concern and I would like to say a big thanks for that. Their management is as classy as the beautiful venue. Graham helped us to navigate this event and offered various options for us.

Many vendors or suppliers have taken a strange approach to crisis management and we have noticed that with some of our small vendors (such as our flower vendor both won't cancel and won't deliver), but VGC offered several suitable solutions that showed a deep understanding of the situation and was socially and ethically responsible. It may sound like I am gushing here, but really we appreciate this.

For those planning future weddings, this venue is gorgeous and the team working there...

We had our wedding at the Vancouver Golf Club and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Christine, the event manager, was incredible to work with — not only was she professional and experienced (she’s done hundreds of weddings), but she was also so helpful on a personal level. She offered her services as a day-of coordinator at a very reasonable price, and her advice throughout the planning process was invaluable. From sharing money-saving tips and avoiding waste based on her past experience, to helping us choose the perfect menu, she truly went above and beyond.

The food itself deserves its own mention — the kitchen staff made an outstanding impression on us and all of our guests. We’ve all been to many weddings where the food can sometimes be underwhelming, but our guests (and even our DJ and photographer) could not stop talking about how amazing it was. We couldn’t be happier with our choice of venue and highly recommend the Vancouver Golf Club for anyone planning...

I am very disappointed with both the service and lack of disclosure regarding the food. The atmosphere was exceptional. But i have been here a few times with my member husband and this was the worst. We had a new waiter who was not trained properly and could not answer any questions regarding the wine or food. I blame this on management. I ordered a vegetable stir fry with chicken. It came with hot chili peppers? A stir fry? No where on the menu did it mention chili peppers. It was very difficult to eat. A big concern for me as i have been to emergency with acid reflex 3 times. When i mentioned this to the manager on staff she joked and offered me a glass of milk. Very unacceptable coming from a manager. Very...
