I have been going to this centre for years but my review will reflect on my experience from the past few weeks. Due to my schedule I only attend class here on monday, wednesday and fridays. I have always noticed how busy these classes are and rightfully so as the instructors are great. I receive a proper workout during each class and I enjoy it. The unfortunate part is that these classes get sold out very quickly. In fact, sometimes 30 minutes before the class starts, they would run out of space. The last time I attended a class, even the staff was confused and surprised at how the spots have been filled so quickly even though it was 30 minutes before class started. I found out why. During a class, many individuals sneak out in the middle of it so that they can go downstairs to grab a 'ticket' or card for the NEXT class. I have seen this happen so many times but didn't think too much of it until now. The class I attended, there were only 5 individuals that arrived new whilst 19 people were from the previous class (total is 24 people). Those 19 people sneaked out so that they can go to the subsequent class. I can understand that these classes are great but SO many people were turned away due to this. They have already attended one class, why not give the opportunity for other people to attend the other after? A solution for this would be those people who want to attend the next class, shouldn't sneak out to get the card. They should wait until their class is done, then go downstairs to pick up the card for the next class if there are spots left. Either that or expand the size of the group to include more people in each class which is limiting due to the size of the room. I can't even tell you how much of a chaotic scene it is in there. People are scrambling to get their equipment and save spots on the floor. At times, there isn't even enough equipment for the instructor! I hope management takes this review into consideration. I truly enjoy the classes and love the instructors but this particular situation needs...
Read moreAlthough there is popularity in liking the amenities this community center has, I would have to say the fitness room is disappointing. There is only one squat rack and the lack of cardio equipment, and other usual equipment is not helpful when you use the fitness room during busy times. The fitness room is shared with high-school and college students. There tends to be a daily specific time were the weight room is overcrowded with ignorant school age people (which I find...

Seems like an amateur setup that doesn't maximize their facilities or profits and doesn't provide users with the intended experience. In other cities, if you don't show up within 20 mins then your reserved spot is gone and people who are at the facility and on the wait list can then pay and play. So I have to drive to Vancouver or...
