Hoy Creek Hatchery — Attraction in Coquitlam

Witnessing three salmon swim upstream was the highlight of my visit. The trail area was well kept and inviting. I really enjoyed mingling with other visitors as we learned how we can all make Coquitlam's City life better. Very quite and serene nature mid of Coquitlam BC. Can be accessed through all 4 directions. Plenty of benches to rest and watch for birds including an owl, squirrels, fish and black bear at times. Came by to have a look at the salmon run, unbelievable display of nature as there were EASILY 18" or larger salmon swimming up the creek. Very interesting to watch.
