Sabrosa — Restaurant in Dartmouth

I honestly can not say enough nice things about this place. We had decided to pop in since we were in the area, and man am I glad we did. We were greeted at the door by Brent, who is absolutely fantastic and was SO helpful in helping us pick out drinks/meals that were absolutely AMAZING! The menu is vast, and based on what I saw/heard from the other tables, it sounds like everything on it is awesome however I can only speak first hand about what we ordered... and I can say it was A+++++ and we will absolutely be back. All the food is made from scratch on site, and it shows. The queso cheese sauce was enough to make this my new favorite restaurant, hands down.

Food and service are most important to me when picking a restaurant and both were exceptional. This place is a family owned restaurant where the care and attention to detail are VERY obvious by the quality of the food and drink they serve. The staff make ya feel like a regular even if it's your first visit, and they really go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your visit. Even the hallway to the bathrooms is delightful, lined with the work of local artists that you can even purchase with 100% of the profit going to the artist! The bathrooms were lovely and private (individual bathrooms, and multiple of them so I'd be surprised if you ever had to wait).

We will ABSOLUTELY be back, there really isn't a comparison to this place around here. If you like quality mexican food at a very reasonable price, then you really owe yourself a trip...

Me and fiance came in for the dinner atmosphere was pretty great the decor and seating was pretty cool.

The food Lime and strawberry daiquiri non alcoholic was such a good decision just a nice slushi well eating some tacos.

Loaded street corn fresh home made tortilla chips. Bless them they are delicious.

The pork carnitas taco Enough is said about them already Pork & pineapple always a great combo but damn they did this right and way too good.

Jalapeño popper taco Dang that was just enough spice and it was so good it was just fresh jalapeño with some cream cheese and hits every spot you need!

Sweet potato taco Perfect blend of avocado,sweet potato and everything nice to it such a great vegetarian option.

Little chicken fried taco Done in butter milk battered but not too spicy just hits the nice places in your mouth.

QUESABRRIA TACOS my god EVERYONE SHOULD BE ORDRING THIS. ITS SO DELIOUS MOUTH WATERING CRUCHY AND WITH A LITTLE SPICE DANG WAS ONE OF THE BEST FOODS I HAD TONIGHT AND IT COMES WITH JUS TO DIP CAN NOT ASK FOR MORE THEN THIS.

DESSERT MINI CHURRO BITES CRUNCHY ON THE OUTSIDE POCKET OF AIR ON THE INSIDE REMINDS OF CINNAMON TOAST CRUNCH GOD DAMN CANT ASK FOR A BETTER END TO THE NIGHT.

My friends and I chose Sabrosa for dinner Friday night after hearing good reviews of the food, and thought it was cool that it also is a tequila bar (my friend whose birthday it was loves tequila). But we ended up enjoying so much more than just the food (which was really great!!). It was the positive energy of the staff that set the tone for a really fun time. Our server, Kimberly, was FANTASTIC and took our experience from great to wonderful. Right from the start she was so warm and friendly and had a fun energy, while also being a professional. She let us know of the drink specials right away and was also happy to give recommendations when I needed some help deciding out of the fantastic selection of drinks (they both were spot on for what I was looking for). The food menu all sounded so good that our whole group had a hard time deciding. The corn dip, pork carnita tacos, pulled chicken tacos, spicy shrimp tacos, lamb skewers, street fries, and mexican style rice were all delicious. And beyond that, I also found the aesthetic and decor of the place really pleasing to the eye and increased my enjoyment of the overall experience. To sum this up, Sabrosa was a total hit for everyone, so much so that we were already making plans to come back before we even got our bills that night.
