Napanee Falls — Attraction in Greater Napanee

Always been a favorite spot by the falls at Springside Park. It's almost always busy with lots of people walking or picnicking or fishing or whatever. But not so crowded its an issue. Its too bad they capped the freshwater spring coming out the side of the hill. But its understandable if the water was unsafe to drink. Its probably not true but I heard it might be because of the cemetery at the top of the hill. Another minor issue would be that they paved the boardwalk instead of keeping the boards.. It needs a new name now. I still think the falls deserve 5 stars though. I never get bored with the place. It'll always be a place to visit...

The most beautiful place on earth. It has a long walking path from one end of the park taking you over to another park all along the Napanee River. You will see fish jumping, wildlife, flowers, trees, along the path. Its peaceful for picnics, great for fishing...fences keep children from getting into the water...The falls are fast flowing...This is one of two places on earth where the tide flows in & out 2 times a day...The other body of water is The Nile...Its amazing to witness...Take a drive to Springside Park in Napanee Ontario to see the...

Beautiful paved walking path along the Napanee River. Incredibly scenic, and a great spot to take the kids if they're into catching Pokémon. There are probably a dozen Poké-stops/Poké-gyms along the path. Lots of dogs on leashes. Garbage cans at both ends of the path and complimentary poo bags. 👍

The photos and video are of some balanced rock sculptures left along the riverbank by an unknown artist. We were very lucky to have gotten to see these before the wind...
