I love the mix of year-round high quality organic local greens, veggies, fruit, and eggs, which has become our main source of weekly produce since the beginning of the pandemic. During the winter months the supply of a variety of organic fruits and veggies from outside the province and internationally rounds things out nicely. They also carry some local preserves, maple syrup, and honey, tofu, cheese, bread, even flowers. They often have new and interesting varieties to try in the summer. Prices are fair for the quality you get. A huge plus for me is that it's a small space and you can navigate in a circle and be in and out in less than 10 minutes. Wonderful range of products offered in this little North End market. When in season, Abundant Acres' cherry tomatoes are worth fighting over to get the last one... The coffee is a lovely little neighbourhood hangout, not to mention the meat and seafood selection are aces. New to the scene is a dairy fridge and it's so nice to find so many different kinds of Nova Scotian cheese in the same place! Every time I visit Dad he always requests some at least a dozen eggs from "you know... that market shop...

Excellent food offerings and solid pricing. Best place for local produce and animal products that I’ve found in Halifax so far—and convenient, too!

The produce selection is seasonal, and so I’ve found they don’t always have what I’m after if I’m looking for something specific, but the greens, cukes, tomatoes, and root veggies I’ve had have been wonderful.

Also can’t beat the prices for local meat, eggs, and cheese. The cheese curds...
