I happened to meet the owner on a flight from Calgary to Halifax, and we decided to visit the store during our trip, and I am so glad we did! I would recommend this store to anyone with a wee one in the family or for those looking for gifts for the little ones in their lives. The store is beautiful, and the owners and staff are so kind, thoughtful, professional, and welcoming. You will be greeted with a true Nova Scotian welcome and instantly feel at home. We're living in a world where the stuff you buy online at Amazon etc has a huge chance of being low quality or even garbage and return policies are getting worse, with your time wasted in the end. With your baby you need things that are selected specifically for their health and wellbeing, since there are so many other things to worry about instead. Prices are great for what you get - including some advice if you need it. Quality imported from within Canada and Europe - with health and quality in mind. I can’t say enough good things about Nurtured. My partner and I are expecting our first child this summer so we have quite a bit of preparing to do. We recently purchased our stroller, glider as well as some smaller items. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and can answer any question you may have. I mention this because I visited a big box baby store and found that the employee couldn’t answer some basic questions that I had.
