What a pleasant discovery! We love cooking Indian Cuisine at home, but often have difficulty finding certain spices and ingredients. My husband was born and raised in the UK, so some of his favourite curries are hard to come by too. We were both so pleased to see many familiar things in one place! I was blown away at some of the low pricing (cardamom pods, some of the branded chutneys and spice mixes) but some items were unmarked with pricing which was a bit tricky. I was also excited to see a fridge full of freshly prepared Indian sweets, but was deterred as it was self-serve. I will look forward to trying them another time. Tiffin Service -
Pros :
On-Time Delivery - Never had an issue with delivery timings.
Better delivery person now than before.
Cons :
Poor food quality - 4/10 . Used to be good, but has gone down in quality (Refer 13-May-25 update above)
Food is sometimes not properly packed - When I receive food, it is already leaked all over other containers and I'd have to clean it up.
High Price. 2 months of Tiffin Service with Indian Groceries is the same price as 3 months of Tiffin Service with another Tiffin Service provider that I was a part of.
Good for tasting authentic Indian food, but thats where the good ends. Sometimes poor quality, poor customer service when you call them.
