Our family came across Kidz at Play Indoor Playground through a friend's social media post. We decided to book our baby's 1st birthday (before even visiting), to lock our date & timeslot. We're glad we took a chance! We had visited many times before the party and each experience has been great . Our family (especially our little ones: baby and energetic toddler) LOVED it.
The facility is extremely open and spacious! There are different play and pretend areas that any one can enjoy from a grocery store, spa salon, construction zone, farm, a learning-nook etc., floor road for karts, and a large play & slide structure. There are many accessible and individual washrooms, change tables, and a nursing room. Kidz at Play is well thought-out with the washrooms being sensory safe with no high pitch hand dryers and automatic flushes. Which is something we commend for having!!!
There is a lounge where you can sit, snack and still be able to watch and supervise from a safe distance. Party rooms to host your function, that can be opened into one party room for a larger crowd; with kids & adult sized tables and chairs, and baby high chairs.
Kidz at Play staff are extremely professional and friendly. The owners and staff went above and beyond to help make our party run smoothly and stress-free (ie. setting up tables/layout, ensuring everyone's concerns were addressed, the fine details). They were very thorough with keeping the facility clean and disinfected too.
We highly recommend Kidz At Play Indoor Playground as a family-friendly place to go visit for a few hours or to host your next event! We look forward to...
Read moreStraight to the point: the place is cheap. Cheap in facilities: it is basically a warehouse with its original floor painted except for a tiny, very tiny, area (shown in one of the pictures). Extremely slippery due to cheap glossy paint (even with the special playground socks you buy it everywhere), and not properly levelled. If your kid is still toe-walking youâll end up with an injury. Cheap in maintenance: I came few times since its opening (hoping I wonât need to put this review), a year ago they had a fire truck simulator, two weeks after opening it ran out of battery, never fixed it, and now they have just removed it. Cheap in pricing: who is charging one parent to provide care for their kids who already paid $15+HST (not extra parent, they literally charge one parent accompanying their kids). Most importantly cheap in thinking, where workers believe they are entitled: while we all remove our shoes including the kids, stepping on this freezing cold warehouse floor, the owner and his team think they are entitled to walk around with their shoes on!!! In one of the pictures posted, one of the workers in the white shoes came out from the washroom and walked towards the playing area!!! The owner himself literally waked in/out their store and then towards where all kids with the shoes on (one of the pictures with the dolly out of the store). Terrible place that started well and kept going downhill. Not sure how the City of Mississauga is allowing this place to...
Read moreRecently attended for my nieces birthday party with both of my children. A little after arriving, my 1 year old wasnât feeling too well so I went to grab the stroller so she can lay down. I asked if I could just place the stroller in the party room for my little one to rest since she wasnât going to be playing & was just ill, which is right by the entrance. The owner refused & said that if she wasnât feeling well then she shouldnât be there. Keep in mind, the party times are only 2 hours so there wasnât much of the party left at that point. I sat by the shoes for the remainder of the party so my little one could just lay down & my oldest can enjoy the rest of the party with family. As someone who runs a play place, I couldnât imagine being so cold hearted towards a baby. Not to mention, the workers watch you like hawks. Monitoring what indoor slippers you are using that are provided, etc. I felt like I was walking on egg shells there. I understand the employees are doing as they are told to an extent but this is obviously coming from the owner who does not empathize with people who have children. The vibes were already off by the way they monitored everything but not allowing the stroller to be kept inside the party room only & having to sit outside the remainder of the party was definitely the cherry on top. Would not recommend this place. I couldnât imagine the lack of empathy you would get from the owner if God forbid something...
