A great little place to get away from the noise by the lake. It offers a wide range of activities.

Swimming: There is a beach on a shallow lagoon that gets warm enough to swim in during the summer. Although it is a pebble Beach, so pack water shoes. There is also a rental place available across the lagoon for cayaks canoes, etc.

Walking: there is a nice peninsula with paved walk for a lesurely 15-20min walk. Wheelchair and stroller accessible.

Picnic: picnic tables sprinkled throughout the space. There is a covered area right by the washrooms. I've seen people have parties/gatherings there (booking with the city may be required.

Parking: very small parking lot, and gets busy very quickly. Come early on weekends if you want a spot. There is street parking available, but we have struggled to find some on occasion during the peak park visiting hours on...

I came here with a couple of friends for a scenic walk. There is a Waterfront Trail that connects to the park from the east side. This park almost fully wraps around a body of water as I saw many people on kayak, canoe, standup paddle board and swim in.

The Waterfront Trail is suitable for walking, running and biking. You would also get to enjoy a beautiful view of Lake Ontario and downtown Toronto.

There is an accessible access point to the beach area around AE Crookes Park. I did venture onto the beach and the sand is very fine. There are some parts that are definitely more stones and pebbles than sand.

Overall, this park is quite a peaceful and you can see many people enjoying their time with...

This Park is nice and alright we came here last year as well. This year was a little bit different.

Here’s why…

Pros: A) The park has trees and the landscape was alright and nice. B) The park can have dogs. C) The park looks clean and well maintained. D) They have a washroom.

Cons: A) There was a few parts of the park that looked dirty. And have Graffiti. B) Parking was not ample and fills up most of the busy days. C) I saw a few people that were drugged and acting weird.

Conclusion: It’s sad to see that this Park has come to this. Last year was better. Hopefully next year...

RK McMillan Park is a great place to go to with friends and just relax— or take pictures of the wildlife. If you want to enjoy time with friends, morning and evening time is bestir you’re looking for a quieter time, as afternoon is a popular time for family with children. The landscape is beautiful and if you’re quiet, you may even take a picture of a beaver or some butterflies.

Great place for a walk or bike ride, especially during off hours when it’s not too busy. Extend your walk to the point where you can see Toronto or go through the woods to the Adamson Estate. The splash pad is nearby for the kids. The cove is nicely protected for stand up paddle boarding or other water sports. It freezes over in the winter for skating if you’re careful.
