Being relatively new to this area (moved here in Aug. 2021) we've not yet toured this entire park (it is huge). I often walk with our 2 dogs from the area behind Shoppers, along Mountain Rd., down to the park by way of Frampton Lane which runs parrel to this park. The dogs (Jack and Shyla) get especially excited once we reach the parks pathway. They enjoy looking out for various tree creatures and enjoy interacting with any other dogs (also nice being away from all the vehicles). Jack and Shyla are always on a leash and I'm sure to always ask permission of the fellow dog owners before allowing our dogs to interact with any other dogs. Both Jack and Shyla have all their shots up to date and both have been responsibly neutered. I never tire of exploring the many trails and especially look forward to seeing the large log pavilion being opened. I can only guess the pandemic has kept it closed during this past summer. Often we'll walk, from the trails, over to Princess Auto or the emptied Bass Pro shop to await my wife to pick us up. Truly a great treat having a large piece of the country right next to us here within the city of Moncton.

There's a lot of time and public money put into this park, and it is very nice. Unfortunately it's impossible to walk a single step without seeing garbage - anything from discarded coffee cups, to dog sh!t bags hanging from trees, to automotive supplies, to drug paraphernalia. I've yet to witness a single person pick anything up or any sign from the City that they care. It's not a very enjoyable experience when I run out of hands to pick up all of the litter.

Great nature park with multiple trails to choose from, public washrooms, benches and plenty of parking. Most of the trails have little hills and areas to picnic at. Winter update, main trails are very well maintained but definitely recommend wearing cleats, for the smaller trails which are not cleared snowshoes might be a must, I did not venture that way. Enjoy!
