Being relatively new to this area (moved here in Aug. 2021) we've not yet toured this entire park (it is huge). I often walk with our 2 dogs from the area behind Shoppers, along Mountain Rd., down to the park by way of Frampton Lane which runs parrel to this park. The dogs (Jack and Shyla) get especially excited once we reach the parks pathway. They enjoy looking out for various tree creatures and enjoy interacting with any other dogs (also nice being away from all the vehicles). Jack and Shyla are always on a leash and I'm sure to always ask permission of the fellow dog owners before allowing our dogs to interact with any other dogs. Both Jack and Shyla have all their shots up to date and both have been responsibly neutered. I never tire of exploring the many trails and especially look forward to seeing the large log pavilion being opened. I can only guess the pandemic has kept it closed during this past summer. Often we'll walk, from the trails, over to Princess Auto or the emptied Bass Pro shop to await my wife to pick us up. Unfortunately it's impossible to walk a single step without seeing garbage - anything from discarded coffee cups, to dog sh!t bags hanging from trees, to automotive supplies, to drug paraphernalia.
